Please read these terms carefully before using AssetLayer's platform and services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AssetLayer's platform, services, or $ASL tokens, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this platform.

2. Platform Description

AssetLayer is a blockchain-based platform that enables the tokenization of real-world assets (RWAs) through AI-enhanced technology. Our platform provides tools for asset tokenization, management, and trading on the Avalanche blockchain network.

3. User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts in your jurisdiction. By using our platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

Users from certain jurisdictions may be restricted from accessing our services. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.

4. $ASL Token Terms

$ASL tokens are utility tokens that provide access to AssetLayer's platform features. Token holders acknowledge that:

  • $ASL tokens are not securities or investment contracts
  • Token values may fluctuate significantly
  • There is no guarantee of profit or return on investment
  • Tokens may become worthless or lose all value

5. Platform Usage

Users agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. Prohibited activities include:

  • Violating any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempting to hack, disrupt, or compromise platform security
  • Creating false or misleading asset representations
  • Engaging in market manipulation or fraudulent activities
  • Using the platform for money laundering or terrorist financing

6. Asset Tokenization

When tokenizing assets through our platform, users represent that they have legal ownership or authorization to tokenize such assets. AssetLayer does not verify asset ownership or authenticity and is not responsible for disputes arising from tokenized assets.

7. Risks and Disclaimers

Blockchain technology and cryptocurrency investments carry inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Volatility in token and asset values
  • Regulatory changes that may affect platform operations
  • Technical risks including smart contract vulnerabilities
  • Loss of private keys or wallet access
  • Network congestion or blockchain failures

8. Limitation of Liability

AssetLayer and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising from your use of the platform or $ASL tokens.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property on the AssetLayer platform are owned by AssetLayer Foundation or its licensors. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit permission.

10. Termination

AssetLayer reserves the right to terminate or suspend user access to the platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international laws and regulations. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.

12. Changes to Terms

AssetLayer reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of material changes, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
